About Us
Fern’s Villa is a magnificent 150m² 4 bedroom house with a Caledonian design that’s a pleasure to live in! Designed around a convivial family atmosphere, with a very large living room, swimming pool, BBQ and kitchen opening onto the deck. Enjoy this rare gem close to all amenities and Nouméa’s finest beaches.
This villa has 4 bedrooms with hotel-quality Queen-size beds, including a master bedroom with an island balnéo bath overlooking Anse Vata Bay. Cook up some tasty treats in the superb kitchen, followed by a movie night in the lounge with overhead projector.
After a good BBQ, relax by the pool on comfortable day-beds.
Not forgetting the offices, cellar, filtered water fountain and laundry room! As you can see, there’s something for every type of visitor!
We’ve got everything you need for your stay: arrival kit, beach kit, board games, bike hire, washing machine and tumble dryer and a welcome booklet so you don’t miss a thing of the capital.

Aperitifs and a BBQ of local Rusa deer at sunset on your private deck and a dip in the pool? Cinema time in the lounge area equipped with an overhead projector? and a good night’s sleep in the bedrooms with spacious hotel-quality beds (Queen 160) or a comfortable sofa bed!

there are two well-lit office areas with a very good free and unlimited WIFI connection (fibre) in 2 of the rooms.
Taking care of yourself ?
Treat yourself to a balnéo bath with a view of Anse Vata Bay from the master bedroom.
Don’t worry if you’ve forgotten your toothbrush! We’ve got everything covered with our zero-waste welcome products: soap and shampoo dispenser, bamboo toothbrush and toothpaste powder, etc.
For a whiter-than-white wash, you’ll have your own laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer!
Finally, if you want to keep cool, there’s a ceiling fan (to minimise your carbon footprint) and air conditioning in every bedroom ans sofa bed room.
+ Linen are included in the rental price.
+ Because we know that when children are happy, parents are happy too, we provide everything they could possibly need on request: a cot or co-sleeping bed, a highchair, a bath, a walking kit (seat reducer and step stool), a sling and/or pram, a car seat and a booster seat!
+ Autonomous arrival from 2pm, 24/7! All the information you need to enter the accommodation (address, lock code, wifi code) will be given to you before your stay. Depending on your arrival time, we’ll be there to meet you either on arrival or the next day.
+ For an additional fee, we can also organise your airport transfers, rental car, mobile internet with pocket wifi and a local tourist phone SIM card.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
The villa consists of 5 apartments. Each flat and the villa have their own private, secure entrance.
All our flats and the villa are equipped with a safe smoke detectors and a first aid kit.
Please note that free parking is available on the street.
Airbnb insurance and holiday rental home insurance do not cover burglary. For this reason, we advise anyone renting out holiday lets to check their comprehensive home insurance and to add the “holiday cover” clause to it.

YOUR DEPARTURE
Departure time: 11am. We can arrange a late departure if required, subject to availability.
The flat must be returned in the same condition as on your arrival: clean. The ” cleaning fee ” is used to check the flat and to restock it between rentals. You can book a ” departure cleaning ” for a fee if you want someone else to clean the apartment upon departure. You can also book a ” weekly housekeeping cleaning ” for a fee during your stay at the apartment.

House Rules:
No smoking – except in private outdoor areas by closing the accommodation’s bay window.
No parties
Entry to the premises is from 2.00 p.m.
Les Hauteurs de la Baie is located in a very quiet area, so out of respect for your neighbours, we would ask you to keep noise to a minimum at all times of the day, particularly between 12pm and 2pm (nap time) and after 9pm.
Correct dress is required throughout the stay.
You also confirm that you are aware of :
- Free on-street parking is available.
- Use the air conditioning to sleep with the windows and doors closed. Give preference to the use of fans – the planet will thank you!
- Accommodation must be left in the same clean and tidy condition in which it was handed over.
Cancellation policy :
Cancellable rate: For stays of less than 30 nights, a full refund is possible up to 48 hours before arrival.
Cancellable rate: For stays of more than 30 nights, a full refund is possible up to 5 days before arrival.
Non-refundable rate: Refund possible if cancelled within 24 hours of booking – After 24 hours, no refund possible.
Looking for some action?
Head to Anse-Vata Bay (Baie de l’Anse Vata) during the day to hire your water sports equipment (windsurfing, Stand Up Paddle, Funboard, Kite surfing etc…) and to Lemon Bay (Baie des Citrons) at night with its bars and nightclubs! Youngsters will not be left out with the parks (Brunelet 5 min and Orphelinat 20 min on foot) and swimming pools (CNC 13 min and Ouen-Toro 30 min on foot).
If you're in the mood for shopping,
the Port Plaisance, Michel-Ange and La Promenade shopping centres (with their supermarkets, bakeries and shops) will hold no secrets for you!
To get around, there are bus stops on either side of the flat and car rental agencies just 10 minutes from your door! We can also rent you electric bikes.
Excess luggage or a desire to share a piece of the "Caillou" with your friends?
? if you want to send your postcards and parcels, the Receiving post office is the place to go!
Looking for peace and quiet?
Head for the shade at Lemon Bay (Baie des Citrons) for a swim/snorkel (beach kit in the dedicated cupboard in your rental accommodation) and Anse-Vata Bay (Baie de l’Anse Vata) for a day out at Duck Island (Ilot Canard)! Rain or shine, marvel at the underwater world at the aquarium, and in fine weather, climb to the top of Ouen Toro to admire the view!
